The story

Why I started Hooijer Enterprise

Eight years in sales teaches you to recognize a pattern. Six of those years were in recruitment, where the product has its own agenda and every deal depends on two parties saying yes at the same time. The rest in business development across different markets.

What I kept seeing, across every role and every company, was the same thing. Founders with a real product and a real market, but sales that never got the traction it deserved. Not for lack of drive. For lack of someone who could build the motion and hold it.

I started Hooijer Enterprise because I know what it takes.

I don't push on people who aren't interested. I help the ones who are. That is where the good work and the long relationships come from.

Sales does not fail on intention. It fails when motivation runs out, discipline slips or consistency breaks. The combination of all three is what makes a sales motion that actually holds. That is what I build.

No lock-in. You own what we build for you and you can carry it forward yourself. I am here to get you there, not to stay forever.

How we work together

Peer level, not service provider

I work at the same level as the founder. Not as a vendor you check in with, but as someone who sits at the table with you and takes responsibility for sales alongside you.

In practice: a weekly or bi-weekly session to review what moved forward and what the priorities are for the week ahead. I run the outreach and the opening conversations myself. When the right opportunity comes around, we walk in together. You know your company better than anyone. I want you in that room.

The combination

Most companies split this across three roles.

An SDR generates leads. An account manager holds relationships. A strategist builds the plan. Most companies hire all three separately, or find one person who covers only part of it.
